My oscar died. What species should take his place?

I decided I am going with a festae. I have always admired them when I saw photos but never really thought about buying one. And no my flowerhorn will not beat up or kill any of my fish. I have had her since she was an inch and was raised with her current tank mates. She is actually the least aggressive of all my CA/SA cichlids.

you can't go wrong there i love my Festae pair

I would go with a GT, they are beautiful and should be okay with your other cichlids. Good luck!

Somehow I knew you would avoid answering that. Kinda like when people go into Petco to buy an oscar stating they have a large tank when in reality its like a 10 gallon.

A school of ID Sharks since size isn't an issue.

lmao

After going to all the fish stores in the city ( at least the ones I trust), I couldn't find a decent looking festae. But I found an amazing looking salvini and sort of fell in love with her/him. I admit it was kind of an impulse buy but s/he will be very healthy and happy in her/his new home.
