my oscar has died suddenly

its just laying on the floor not movin not breathing n the catfish tried to eat it n it diidnt move. so devistated anyone got any clue what has happened

well i dont know all params but its a 5x2x2 with two fluval 205 filters it 27 degrees i change water 30percent once a week. yesterday he was his normal self he was a year old. his tankmate is a silver aro hes fine

Also you need to check water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temperature, pH)

he was feeding alright i had cut there food from twice to once a day recently but he always ate.

if ammonia is up your tank is going through a cycle. That is dangerous in itself.
