My Oscar hasn't eaten in three days!

I just realized that he seems to be "breating" harder then usual. He almost continously opens and closes his mouth to let more water into his gills. He is very active: swimming a lot and he "plays" with the other ocsar

Is it possible that my oscars are mating? I am not familiar with their ritual.

Getting your water parameter's checked, right on. They will breathe heavier whilst interacting furiously.

My 10 inch oscar did this too but only for 2 days cuz i put a couple of my brother's mollies the third day....and he ate them like crazy...after that he ate his pellets again...my brother still doesn't know what happened to his mollies
