So... were you able to 'fix' your Oscar's jaw? (update?)
I know it is sometimes possible.
I had a similar situation with one of my male Congo tetras (Phenacogrammus interruptus). A couple of years ago when he was young, a similar thing to that of your oscar happened to him. I don't know how, perhaps trying to swallow something too big?, as it has always been very greedy!
I fished it out and tried to 'fix' it by hand, but could not do it. It has been a couple of years and although he is very healthy and it does not seem to affect him much, his mouth became deformed permanently and he is unable to fully close it. I call him Twist Mouth.
