My Oscars

I have Roseline Sharks, they have learned to hover just behind my Oscar and eat up all the mess she makes, also I have 2 Spotted Raphael cats and a Blue Phantom pleco so by time waterchange/ tank cleaning comes around there is not much to clean up.

jhook what kind of fish are you using to clean up the Oscars mess?

For cleaning up their excess food, I have a convict pair. They are tough enough to not tolerate being bullied without fighting back. I also have an African Squeaker Catfish that is living the good life off of their leftover food. When the Oscars get insects, everybody gets pieces of insects!

I have 4 polys in the tank with the Oscars . and I over feed them since they are all just a few inchs and went them to get big .polys seem to do a good job of eating what ever my Oscar s don't want .

still might need more scavengers once they get bigger and the large tank I'm looking to buy.

Hey again everyone. Here’s some pictures of my Oscars at 2 years old. They are doing great and I am enjoying them still. Great personalities on these two.
