So, I am in the beginning stages of rebuilding my 1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS. Currently has a HO 350 with a holley 750 double pumper carb and edelbrock performer intake. Here is my plan for the car.

Right now:
Holley Double Pumper Carburator (750cfm)
Edelbrock Performer Intake
Stock iron heads
stock rockers/lifters/cam/ect.
...well lets just say everything else is still stock

What I am doing to it:
1.) Currently it has a set of 16"x14" Mickeys on the back, replacing the rear end with either a 4 lin suspension or doing a ladder bar rear frame to fit these big meats under the car.
2.) QFT 850cfm carb upgrade
3.) Edelbrock Super Victor Intake (3500-8000rpm)
4.) New 7qt. Moroso performance oil pan
5.) Block will be being acid dipped and bored .040"
6.) Proform Aluminum Roller Rockers
7.) Comp Cams High Energy Pushrods
8.) Comp Cam Magnum Cam kit (501" Lift, Adv. Dur. 292 degrees)
9.) Jegs Dragster style radiator
10.) Proform electric water pump
11.) Edelbrock Victor Racing Fuel Pump (130gph)
12.) NOS Cheater System (mainly for looks, and if I feel so tempted..)
13.) HEI Distributer
14.) Forged Pistons/Rods
15.) MSD 6A Igniton

More of a list to come, this will be an on-going project, so don't think I am dropping 3k right now. I woudl also like to finish the custom cowl induction hood, and see about getting some either carbon fiber or fiberglass doors to cut down on weight. Who knows, pics will be up when it gets light out.

If you have a project like mine post it, what you have, what you would like to do with it? Anything really, muscle/import/tuner? Whatever.

Nice list. my friend got a 02 ls1!! pushing mid 600 to thr rear! all motor!
I bet you car is going to look nice. muscle for life!

oh and that was my first car. bought it from the original owner with 54k original miles(now 74k) when i was 15 1/2

ps the trailor in the back isnt mine. neighbor. lol

Very nice, I love hearing about first cars, my first car was a 71' Plymouth Challenger, ended up being to much rust and restoration for me to fix so got a beater 735i BMW. I do appreciate my muscle cars, however I am also picking up a 91' Nissan 240SX which will be my tuner project for a few years.

They are coming once my computer will stop being stupid. I have not started the "what I am doing" section yet, currently am still tearing the motor apart to get down to the block. ;)

Tear down pics are important! You enjoy the end more if you know where it started.
My project junker looked like this at one point.

Here is my plan, pics will be including and I will have a "build" thread on here of my progress.

Step 1: Remove all exterior parts (bumpers, fenders, doors, ect.)
Step 2: Remove Engine with Tranny in one swoop
Step 3: Remove all interior components so I can paint the WHOLE car, that way there won't be different colors when I open the door
Step 4: Dismantle Engine
Step 5: Dismantle Tranny
Step 6: ....not sure yet haha, will be posing pictures though, that's for sure.
