Save yourself the trouble of the 2V GT, get a 4V 96-04 Cobra or Mach 1 and start there. Or buy the V6, and with the money you saved, slap a blower on it and make more hp/tq than that same money spent getting a stock V8.

Just keep saving for the Cobra. Trust me you will regret buying the GT because you will still want the Cobra. "The Terminator" is a bad ass car and number 1 on my wish list as well.

My project car for the next year or so is my 91 dodge stealth RT/Twin Turbo. I've seen them beet the new cobras.:WHOA: Also getting an 89 firebird in a couple months.

My project car is a '69 Mustang coupe with a 302 V8. I haven't really had a place to work on it but that will change in about a month.

Me? The only pic I have of it is this crappy cell phone pic I took the day I picked it up. It came with basically 90% of the parts I need to finish it. I still need to replace the frame rails and floor pans. Good thing I've been learning how to weld.

I kind of purchased it before I had a place to work on it, lol. Unfortunately my house doesn't have a garage and I've been keeping it in my brother in laws barn. My parents built a new house about 15 minutes from where I live and I've been helping my father finish the 2 bay garage outbuilding. I just finished painting the inside over the weekend. All we need to do is run the electric and put epoxy down on the floor and then I can start working on it.

sign wish I had the money tog et my 73' ranchero back up and going.

but alas no joy atm.

ford 400 ci (aka the modified engine)
changed top end out got alot more power then lost the driveshaft on the freeway (luckily it dropped off the third member for the rear end rather than the rear tranny knucle, that would have been bad.) so needs a tranny rebuild, a new rear end, a new driveshaft, electrical work, fluid flush for everything, new paint, and some interior work.

trouble is rancheros max out at like 5 grand and it'll take that much or more to get it running.

so who knows, my just part it out and go for an easier project that will hold a bit more value, (not looking to make money out of it but it would be nice to stay within 50-70cents of car value per dollar put in).
