Just wanna share my 14" P. Endlicheri Endlicheri with my 6" Male Motoro.

They get along very well, just so confused why some hobbiyts are so scared of putting bichirs and rays together ? They taught bichirs are predator and might cause some damage to the rays.

The main rule of keeping a BIchirs with any fishes is DONT STARVE your bichirs. :-)

Skinny rays have their hips showing, you can see ribs, and a dent in their forehead right between their eyes. Also, a skinny ray you can often observe the veins in their disc when the disc is too thin.. A healthy ray should be thick full-bodied and show no outlines of internal organs or body parts..

nice pics the endli is awsome I won't keep them together cause a 5" endli killed my 9"female motoro

Oic, i well i guess that TOO FAT nor either too skinny RAYS are NOT HEALTHY. Its just have to be average enought and most importantly healthy....Just my two cents

Sorry to hear that sir. But in my case i kept 2pcs of 14" P. Endlicheri 2x with my small male motoro plus 4" CL and 4" ST and they goes very well. No harrastment or aggresion from both Endli. I guess i feed them right .

You may see some veins on the underside of young rays >6 inches.
