Haven't tried squash with mine yet or bell peppers. Gonna have to buy some. I use Manzanita Wood. I figure Malaysian would be to soft. Never used Mopani it's normally way to high priced for me.
Yeah I only have one piece of Mopani and at the rate I cycle it out into an algae tank it'll take forever to for them to destroy it. I have Manzanita in my 80 with my Xingu and he loves it. I need to see if I can go find some bigger manzanita pieces for the watermelon.

Yea they all seem like they went fast the adonis went real fast.
I am glad I didn't part with my bigger branches of wood like I was planning too. I have one of my bigger pieces in the 135 right now and the 3 Panaque's in the tank right now all flock to it. I use to have some root pieces as well that were huge they looked nice but ended up tossing those out. They collected way to much debris. But yea big piece for the Watermelon would be good Jake.
I'm not surprised with the Adonis going fast Sharptooth. I have seen several threads in the classifieds here of people looking for them. I love how they look while smaller but when there bigger like way bigger not so much. As they say though "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
