Meet my little girl!
agh042.jpg

Her name is Porsche, lol, oh how I love fabulous cars.
When she gets a boyfriend, he'll probably be named Bugatti.

For anyone else who keeps chameleons, let's see them!
And, for those of you who keep panthers, she may be a he, can you offer any input?

Awesome. I don't really know too much about them. Is it a "nosy bee"
She's a three month old blue bar ambilobe, which I suppose I could have said the start out with.

Nice, do you want to breed eventually? I was very interested at one point but I'm sure my 2 cats would cause undue stress on such a fragile...and expensive...animal.

I have a cat and two dogs (one's a doberman, actually, seeing your avatar) I do want to breed once she's old enough, I keep her cage in my bedroom and the dogs and cat aren't allowed in there, sometimes they do wander in and don't bother her- it's not that big of a deal.
You could look into veiled chameleons, they're a great starter and much less expensive, it's not hard to find an adult that wouldn't be as stressed by your cats

ambilobes are one of my favorite chams next to the mellers and veilds.

i've been thinking about getting another at the white plains expo here in NY in 2 weeks but im not sure i have the room. good luck with her though, keep us updated on her growth.

Yeah, I have a 2 year old dobie too. Although I just have a generic google found avatar. I used to have a 55 set up for anoles and they were very interesting. I have always loved chameleons. I like the "open air" enclosures but it would seem hard to regulate and maintain humidity especially during the winter.
