Just wait:D. As soon as ours passed the 12" mark, it was like someone flipped a switch and they turned into EVIL bast**ds! Very aggressive.
 
I wish my wife would agree on another tank just for one of these say in the 1000 gal plus size :)
 
I've always wanted a Paroon Shark. Love the way they look! There is just no way I could have one right now. Just no room. Gonna get a bigger house in the near future. Hmmmm.... Please keep posting picts!!!! Glad to see he's doing real good!!!
 
The paroon keeps growing and growing, its around 12" right now and looking really good. No agression towards tankmates yet.



And just so you realize how small my country is, nobody here has a big enough personal tank for a Paroon shark. Believe it or not, my 200G tank is with the biggest "home aquariums" here.

Still there are Paroons being sold here! just available at one store in the whole country at the moment but still weird. I am aware that it wont last long in my tank but i cant imagine what happens to those being sold, when most people have much smaller tanks.

the smaller ones cost ~65$ and the bigger ones ~100$
 
I say build yourself an indoor pond and house it for life. Would be awesome to get some full grown paroons on here.
 
Yeah melafix and pimafix did the trick for me when one of mine scratched his eye on a decoration. I keep these on hand now because I have 3 Pangasius sanitwongsei and they're always damaging something.
