My mistake my bf thought they were tem when they were babies! Then he realized as they grew a bit. As for feeding we give them feeders, I know it's bad for them - they're hooked.

no biggie, they all look so similar so hard to tell the difference but tems and mono are teh easiest to tell apart i think since tems seem to be browner and have lines instead of large spots.

It's a blast watching them eat feeders so i understand.

Just curious how many peacock bass do you have? Since i saw thjs post and the post you have in the media section. BTW all your basses look nice
 
Yah I think they were sold to us as tems, then my bf started to research the differences and figured it out from that, LFS's are pretty bad with labelling things wrong!!

I can't even watch them eat they're so fast! It's like a blink of an eye! They shove like 4 small feeders in their mouths- each! Little piggys lol, although it has pushed our dats to take to market prawn, which they love. So I suppose thats a good thing.

We had 4 bought 3 all at once, and they grew pretty fast, and the 4th couldn't catch up since we bought him a bit after and he was still tiny. We ended up selling the little guy and only have the 3 now.

yeah they're really fast. I've fed mine guppies and rosies and the only time they have a problem is with the guppies. For some reason the guppies is pretty fast. They get pretty smart to, my larger one of the 5 that i had gave up on chasing his meal. He hits them as soon as they drop in but once they're in. He just waits for them. He would go up to them and if they move he leaves them alone then once they swim by him. He pulls them into his mouth.
