Yes. People really are that stupid. Everytime I go somewhere there's at least one human being that leaves me standing there in awe of his/her stupidity.

Yes people are stupid. Its getting harder and harder to find cars/trucks with a manual transmission. What ever happened to actually "driving" the car? Now a days "shifting" is pulling a paddle shifter, no clutch peddle involved.

I have a gas peddle block in my truck so I can heel/toe when downshifting. Whenever I tell people that, they can't even comprehend how 3 peddles can be operated all at the same time with only 2 feet let alone what the result of that is (the ability to downshift "properly" without letting off the brake peddle).

Huh, you lost me here, lol. I'm not going to lie I have always had automatic cars since I could drive(not saying much since I'm only 20, but still) and probaly wouldn't even get a manual unless I really wanted the car and it happened to have it. But everyone is different, don't hate just deal with it, lol. :)
Anyways what were we talking about?

Oh yeah political correctness. I mean wtf? If one is offended so easily then one should exclude themselves from society. Example: In some Canadian schools (probably US ones to) foreign people who have different religions arn't required to sing the national anthem. I mean comon. You should be happy the government accepted you into the country the least you could do is try to addapt to it's customs. Also notice on TV around Christmas you never hear "merry christmas" now they just say 'Happy Holidays" Wouldn't want to offend someone who might not belive in god...

Compleat BS! :irked:

PS: I voted bacon!!

I absolutely agree with the "Merry X-Mas" thing. I mean this is America, how long have we celebrated it saying Merry X-Mas. I don't care if other foreign people want to live here(I mean this is America, I am so grateful to be able to live here than another country where I can't even speak my mind) but why change something that has been so special to families in the U.S. I love X-Mas, because of the obvious(Gifts), but because the whole religion aspect(I don't want to ruin this thread with religion so that's all I will say). It's not like wqere forcing anyone to celebrate CHRISTMAS. Sometimes though, I just don't understand the world. I mean this is the USA, why do we have to change the way we say something just so the foreign people here feel alright. It's all good though, Petsmart(where I work) can't stop me from saying Merry Christmas to people when they leave. So I'm happy.:D

ok here is my shake my head thing for today

WHY DO PEOPLE WEAR TSHIRTS WITH CATCHY SAYINGS OR PICTURES ON THEM AND THEN GET ALL UPTIGHT WHEN YOU TRY TO SEE WHAT IT SAYS AS THEY GO BYE.

dang if I really wanted to look at someone it would be a lot less obtrusive.

here is another one that I get all the time.

I try to teach my staff to always end a transaction with have a great day or something like that and also try to catch some peoples attention with a nod or a how are you etc...

after completing a customer service in the midst of a busy lunch you say have a great day or something like that and the person just outright ignores you and the rest of the people at the counter catch it too and just look at the person, really kind of funny. makes me want to see if people would respond if we told them to have a crappy day lololollolololol

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
spent my fair share of years serving, gotta love the tips I one time make 75k in a year workin 25 hours a week part time serving tables. :headbang2

i wish that type of money was still around chef. i can't make that much working 75 hours a week in this town. its too flooded with restaurants and it has tourist season. plus, many tourists don't tip well. what type of restaurant was that?

a moderately upscale pasta joint where the pace was fast and usually people spent about an hour or less during dinner, half hour at lunch and then after 7pm the patio just rocked

it also helped that I can sell ice to an eskimo ahahhahahha bigger upsell bigger tip, also just going that extra mile to make sure they got the best experience

Another thing is when women wear very revealing dresses or blouses and the sort. I have a GF and all, but I'm not going to lie and I know alot of other men do it too, we take a glance, not stare but we do look. Then why do they, look at me like I'm a sick pervert. I'm a 20 year old guy, if your umm well yeah are sticking out, then what do you expect. Geeesh, women are not easy to understand at times. Do I look for a second, or do I not look and then you get mad because noone thinks you look good because noone is looking. lol

no doubt, when I was 19 I took 1 year at the international academy of fashion merchandising and design. While it was very interesting being on the inside of the fashion world for that year, as well as working in areas where they opened doors otherwise impossible to open.

I just could not get into the whole parade.

I can not really figure that out why ladies do that then again I am sure that ladies have the same view with men, except with men the dudes probably get a mixed signal and become a slug rather than getting upset like the ladies.

a quote for you that I made up "A FIRST LOOK TO APPRECIATE IS INNOCENT, WHILST A SECOND TO LUST AFTER IS ABHORENT!"
