Finally! Sunny my 32 week old pet duck just laid her first egg this morning! I'm pysched! 8 months ago I had rescued Sunny as an egg. Now she's laying her own. I'll post pictures in a few minutes, my sister still has my camera. It's a small egg, just as big as a chickens. But in a few weeks she'll lay an egg 2x the size of a chicken egg everyday for 6 months! I'm getting ready to cook it up.

congrats :D lmao will u really cook it?! why not see if it hatches?

Lol, duck eggs are supposivley better than chicken eggs. Of course it's not fetile! :D I'm not gonna let her rummage around the lake and meet boy ducks! Not in her life-time. ;)

Cool! Love the idea of a pet duck. And one hatched from the egg -- totally kewl!! Great name, "Sunny," as in "side-up."
