Here's a Petsmart "3-Spot Cichlid" that I bought as a dither for my Carpinte x BP pair. Now he's 9-10" long, reeeeallly thick, pearly as hell, and with a nice hard kok. I gave him to my friend at about 3" with no pearling whatsoever.

I know it "looks" female, but it is definately a male it recently bred with a friend of mine's female red devil. If you look carefully at the end of the vid you can see one of the little "devilhorns" that they produced.

LOL, that is so cool, they always are true flowerhorns nowadays at petsmart, but the employers don't know that. to get a true trimac go to rapps. also there is a nice breeding pair on aquabid for a steal so you can see the difference. I may grab them up if nobody else gets them.
