this particular species does not eat fish...but worms.
of course small enough fish will be sucked up...but thats pretty much the same with any fish.

How beautiful those scenic pics.. your elephant nose probably was not eating before you brought it home.. they are wild caught and they are shy.. fragile little guys.. don't blame yourself... when you get another one... make sure the LFS lets you see him eating if possible.. he was awesome though.. sorry for your loss
