My pike. 7 months later

Found one that looks like a male but it's 2hr drive and only 4" long. Would it be safe with the big female or should I just wait till I find a bigger male? I also have a 10" marbled goby that is her tank mate.
 
I wouldn't mix them for fear she'll beat him up unless your aquarium is 6 feet long. Even then, you're better off getting a group to diffuse aggression. Wetspot has some for sale right now.
