My Pike eats like a snakehead. Does yours???

My Cinta stuffs 3 med shrimp in his mouth before heading to his home for swallow them.

man cincta is one of five pikes i can only dream about having. To the topic tho most pikes are heavy eaters, so far from the pikes i have had johaana and venny have been the greediest.

Yep thats normal pike behavior they will stuff there face when every they are given the opertunity but i've never seen them tear any thing apart like a snakehead

My Lenticulata is a beast. He lives with several 10-14" Orino, Mono, and Kelberi peacock bass, full grown Oscar, and an 18" silver Aro. He is by far the most aggressive fish in the tank. Thats saying alot giving the company he keeps. Hes a fairly picky eater, preferring freeze dried krill, raw shrimp, and live. When he eats live he will sometimes take one in, cut it in half with his grinders, then spit the second half out and play with it like a seal. Crazy fish!

huh, my lepidota is rather selective about what he eats, shrimp, fish, pellets, he inspects all food intentlly before deciding to eat it for some reason, by no means a glutton like others have posted, hes great and healthy though, diff personality i guess
