it really taste good grilled.
I know a lot of ways to cook a tilapia, but thats not the case.
nice one you got there, I got three small ones here (originally, they meant to be feeders, but they kept growing and decided to keep these 3 alive)

The one you have is a special strain and was meant as a breeder for hybrid tilapia. They are very pretty in their own right though.
All large cichlids are tasty. The only difference is tilapia grow really fast and are very efficent is the use of plant based food. These go from hatchling to 2 pounds in about 160 days given the right amount of food, good water quality, and heat. These are warm water fish and prefer temps between 85 and 95 degrees F.
