I got mine from Laz, he might still have some available for sale, Snook also has some for sale on here/aquabid.

I haven't seen them feed on live food but know it is happening because they are fat every morning when I wake up and the feeder supply is dwindeling ;) I have seen them swim up close to floating blood worms then dart at them, mouths wide open, on multiple occasions.

The Planiceps will be moving next week most likely to the 55 gallon to continue growing out. They are still housed in a 29 gallon with three clown loaches at the moment and putting on size quickly. I'm mid moving to my new house and as soon as I get some of my furniture over there and the 55 setup again with water I am going to steal from my 240 I am going to move them over there. At that point they will stay in the 55 until about 6-8" and then they will go into my 240 gallon and the larger current residents of the 240 will be moved to my new pond.

nice sounds like a good plan

Week 3: The size difference between my Planiceps is pretty big at this time. Three of the four are considerably larger than the runt who is less aggressive of a feeder. They are now large enough to easily pound the rosy reds and are feeding well on those and blood worms still. I took some pics last night but almost all of them were really blurry...dropped the camera this week so that probably isn't helping. I'll post up a few tonight and try to get some better ones also. They are moving tanks later this week to the 55 gallon.
