Quote"I wouldn't risk putting the smaller two in with the big Tig. I would think it would be fine housing the Jur and Goslinea together though easily as long as they are in a large tank like a 180g+ the only issue I see with those is that the both really like being in the current so if you only have one filter return creating current they might compete for the same spot."
Hey Trent/amazonfish Thanks for the advice.
Think Ill keep them all apart for now at least until the Jurense is at a point where he has to moved from his current tank at least I can be sure they're safe if not housed together.
Your Planiceps look fantastic.
Very keen to see how the develop.
One of mine has a slighlty downturned nose which i can only attrubute to him maybe bashing it on the side of the aquarium.
The fish is only 8" long but housed in a 72"x24"x24" so cant think what else may have caused the bent snout
The Piraiba is doing fine. He is still in the quarantine tank because I haven't had a chance to move him and now the shoe is on the other foot and I'm afraid the Planiceps might make a meal out of him in the next size up growout tank. It will probably stay put in the quarantine tank for another month while I get my pond setup for the Planiceps then I'll move it to the 55 with some clown loaches to continue growing out.
