Sorry. perhaps i didnt make myself clear. The 90% conversion from dimensions to capacity was to allow for a little under fill and deco and substrate.

I will be sure to post lots of pics. The tank manufacturer has a 8 week waiting time. its been about 5 so i am really getting excited. I was concerned with the O needing more space but i was assured by a couple of LFS that i would be ok to keep one with limited tank mates.

I have ust today purchased an Ehiem 2260 to keep the tank squeeky clean :)

Thank you for replying, i was begining to think my thread was invisable.

I will be adding all the fish at a very small size as that is generally how they are sold in the UK. so the tasnk will look very empty for a while but i am hoping that will lead to a happy mature tank, with all of them growning alongside each other.

Please keep the input coming
 
oh and when i said "how am i doing for numbers"...... i meant had i got my stocking right, as in not over or understocked?!?
 
Yup I think it sounds like a good stock. Oscars grow really fast so try to get the oscar as the smaleest or hold out for a month or so and fees the other fish a lot and do a bunch of water changes before the oscar goes in. If you can. I don't have a lot of experiance with sevs so I don't know if they grow as fast but oscars blow up. Just keep it in mind when your purchasing the fish.
