Thanks guys!
Hope he keeps his color.. Is there any other way to do that other than keeping the background white or using white light?
He seems so comfortable with the new black background.. And also compliments his color!
WTT
Well it was and is used mainly on gold Asian aros to raise shine levels and kick up the price
With Asian golds it's fairly easy to spot as the fish has high shine levels at a young age but it's colour is washed out gold nearly white
After the aro has been placed in a normal tank the shine level will drop and the deeper gold colour will return
The thing is anyone spending $2k + on a gold aro should have done lots of research before paying that kind of money so should know all about WTT it's something that all good aro keepers know about so why do the farms carry on doing it
I'm not commenting of this jar as Asian aros are all I know about but it does look nice
Nice aro and that is what I will say about it as I do not know enough about platinum species. But..... I can give a good example of a jar recently that came in white treated a couple weeks ago. It is now a light version of the jar we all know and have seen. Nonetheless, the photos look really good!
