My ply build

Great looking tank. Expansive viewing window. Fiberglass looks great. Im interested in knowing expenses with this build vs. what it would be in conventional acrylic or glass.

Well lucky for me all the timber I got from a house being demolished. The ply cost was £125 all the fibreglass flow coat and tools to apply £256 and the glass was £490. So under a £1000 bare in mind I live on an island and everything is more expensive to get hold of. Hope this helps

I was wondering about the floor to. but figure you thought of such things before building that beauty!

Thank bud. Yes the floor is reinforced concrete under the wood. And the tank is 96x52x48.. Will get more pics up soon
