Purpose :- When i need to check my polys growing rate, I can easily access this thread (This idea stealing from some of major poly masters in mfk :D:D). Because i have some poor memory. Most of time i can't remember which month i got them:(:(. And If you guyz share yours ideas, I can improve my poly knowledge also.

Will Update the Pics, that i take the month to month with little background story..

Details of Poly Market in My country:

Poly's are not a common fish types in my country. Only few shops sell the poly types.
endlies, Delhezies and albino seneguls are most famous and can easily find. Ornate, Lap Ansorgii and rope fish rare to find. congi and Teuglesi I saw only one time. And i never saw them again.

Anyway middle of May i decide to buy this unique body shape fish. When i research from internet I failed to identify what is the different between endlis and lap from pattern. I saw every lower jaw patterns as the same pattern type..:D:D:D
And managed to identify some difference between endli and ornate..

And before i went to the shop i searched how to pronounce ..lol

Anyway i managed to buy 2 poly types. Ornate and Endli. Both of them are 4-5 inches.
(In my country they sold as the just endli's.)

Forgot to mention tank size and tank mates. Polys looks small, so i put them with silver dollars , Red eye tetra and emperor tetra. Itz 75 gallon tank and poly not much active.
every day i was feeding the prawns. But after 2nd week i noticed some emperors missing. So these little tetras gave to my friend.

Anyway middle of the june me addiced to the poly's and deiced to buy lap. This month i know more about polys and worrying about the markings also. But only few laps in the shop and most of them are with lighter markings. But 1 with great markings and back fin issue. I thought every damage fins complete after few months later. So i Bought him. Still he has that issue..:(:(

Lap size 6 inches. Ornate looks like not growing. Endli 6 inch.

2017 July (Last Week)

Using River Sand to the bottom of the tank..After the Lap add to the tank Endli become aggressive towards the lap. During the battle Lap side fin also little bit damaged. But after the 1 week Lap was the new tank boss. Ornate doesn't care anything. Even not caring to the eat. Only eat few pieces of prawn. Others eat well.

Anyway july last me mangaed to buy ansorgii. In the shop This guy has cool patterns and 6 inch. This time I cared the fin issues also. Learned from the last time lesson..

2017 August (First Weeks)

Every Ones Ok. But Little bit worry about Ornate. He is not eating lot. So he growing too slowly.

Top level of the tank looks empty. So I Decide to buy least aggressive one of my favorite Channa type. Channa pleurophthalma.

August updates also attached.

2017 September

Because of the River Sand color, Lap and ansorgii Patterns washed out. So added little amount of black chips to the bottom.Big fan of the natural setup. So don't want to ruin it.
Middle of the August one of my poly bite the oce(snakehead pet name) and he lost his half of the back fin.End of the September Its completely healed.
Here the few pics from September.
