Other than being endlicheri I see almost no similarities. The endli dabola has a much longer head. If you look at the distance between the eyes and nose on the dabola endli vs. the Volta endli, their is more distance on the endli dabola's head.

Telling the differences always difficult for me. See it hought the belly markings were kind of similar but figured it was the difference in substrates that were making the overall color look different. The bands seem to he thicker on the volta.

I cant tell any difference on the head shappes but both pics really arent clear

Dr.b I Agree on head shape. It was just a mention more on the similar markings. Although, it was a darker when I had it. New owner has had it on lighter tone substrate all these years. Glad it's doing well and displayed in a popular noodle restaurant.

Yeah the head shape is so cool looking. I like the elongated head on the dabola endli. Having never owned an endli before, this thing has a freakishly wide/large mouth on it!

I still don't see any similarities in marking either. May just be my eye, but I've seen a lot of endli with patterns like that (stripes with scattered belly patterns), so I think it's more a general similarity than an individual one to try and compare collection points.

Oh i agree with you i trust your eye over mine any day of the week. Im the worst regular in this section when it comes to telling the catch locations apart. Maybe as i get more the differences will be easier to spot in person. Looking at pics on the net just doesnt so it for me they still all look the same lol.

As my cb endli are putting on size it looks like the heads on them are rounder than the wc but not sure if that is a telling trait or just my cb's have rounder heads

I'm not saying you're wrong. I myself am a little hazy on being able to identity every catch location for the laps and endlis. I was merely saying from what I saw. Patterns can be interpreted differently by everyone.

So I need to name these two guys...

The last Koliba I had was named Kolibasaurus Rex or Rex for short. I cant use the same name since the other one jumped :( While very dinosaur looking it really reminds me more of the Raptors in Jurassic Park 3. But Raptor seems a bit cheesy of a name.

The endli is a beast, that is built like a tank. So maybe Tank or due to the mouth full of teeth and jaw set I was thinking 'Under Bite' or something tough like Bruiser, lol. Basically anything you would name a bulldog.

All my fish get named and most are more comical than anything. Example my Pearsei named Porkchop, Nessie the weeksii, Tweedle the Teugelsi...

So if you guys have any ideas throw them out there.

I think it's the perfect opportunity to name your dabola....... "Dabs" hahahahaha. May just be me but I find that too good to pass up

No im definitely wrong. I usually spot things after you guys point them out lol

What do you think about what i said about cb endlis ? Are the rounder heads a tell that they are cb or is it just mine and not a general thing with cb ?

So what catch location is this?
