You paid good money, not saying she is bad but not what you expected. Normally a fish like that would likely have been culled. I would push the issue just a little bit and see if they will do something for you. You have to make it seem like its more of an issue than it really is! lol

I'm not sure what you mean by culled. This moke is most likely WC. And the absence of dorsal finlets wouldn't effect it too much in the wild. I also think you are looking at it the wrong way. Asking for another fish/money back isn't something I would do as the company sent a perfectly well fish. I would rather look at it as a unique poly rather than a deformed one.

Not saying it is a deformed, horrible fish but one that is 'unique' in the sense it is not of the normal expected fish. This should be mentioned to the seller whatever the case.

I think your both right. I really like the fish and her relaxed personality. Very different from the del and ornate who are crazy.
But i did pay decent money for her and really do talk up wetspots quality (another site) so i guess its only fair

Wasn't the fish like $100 + shipping? Like I said not that the fish is bad just not the expected usual norm. Wet Spot should at least be made aware the fish was different.

Yes but like i said i do like the fish. I wouldnt return her. I did send an email so we'll see what they say....now if they wanna give me something for my troubles thats a different issue. Lol the pain and agony im going through lol

I'd request a partial accommodation credit of some sort. Lets be real. It appears to be a visible defect. Not sure if you got on aquabid. Where the actual fish is not the one your buying, or just purchased off their site listing. It's a beautiful moke nonetheless, but should of been mentioned to you beforehand that it was different, therefore, decide whether you want to fork up the asking price+shipping to obtain. More than likely they didn't know. Hope there is a good end result for you.

So i heard back from wetspot and they offered me a free bichir. Ive gotten fish from them before and they are still my favirote to deal with.

Now what are we gonna choose ?

Lettingy son and daughter take a look at some pics now. Having a hard time explaining that we need to get rid of iur l200 to make room for the bichir in a planted 30 gal...not going well
