What size tank ? Save yourself the aggrivation ...just get polys. I can you you ending with the addiction pretty bad.

48 x 18 x 18. This weekend I'm selling some fish and will be left with just 2 African Knives.

No i get that but seems like you arent too far (relatively speaking) from zambia and the congo. Couldnt you play detective and hunt down some collectors and buy from them ?

Potentially. The LFS i go to now said they can order polypterus, I'll see what's up this weekend when I visit.

A 4" sen was 20USD at a mor expensive LFS. I hope I don't have to spend much more than that, I don't want a sen though

You should call them ahead of time get a list of what they can order then start a thread on it. Instead of going there and impulse buying...then ordering something you want later on

I plan on only getting a QT tank to start and acquiring a list of fish. I'm going to think it through but a Del is my first choice atm
