If that areas where the gold dust is hanging out frequently then just place some tilapia there and see if it's eating. It still could be settling in.

I tired flounder a few days ago when he was in qt. So far ive dropped various pelllets and krill in his spot. Took a few chomps at the krill but didnt eat. Im gonna try some flounder now

Looks like it worked !!!! He nibbled then spit it out. Went back a few minutes later and cant tell for sure but it looks like he has a slight bulge in the belly not sure cuz he still hiding allot.

Yup dropped some more in amd saw him snatch a peice...gonna throw in some crushed up massivore too. Wc tonight so i'll let it sit.

Might just be better to feed after light go out. My weeksii will not eat in the daytime at all. Will go right by food and not even take a sniff at it. Since feeding at night Ive seen a huge improvement on the size of the fish. Sadly I never get to see it eat.

I usually drop some pellets in at night too for the catfish. But i NEEDED to see it eat. From this point it will just be getting it pellet trained

Update on the little guys. Finly got the buettikoferi to eat pellets.

Was feeding them before and the sen got a little too close to the buettikoferis spot and it chased him to the other side of the tank and took a couple of shots at him.

Think the buettikoferi is gonna grow up to be a trouble maker ?
