My polys

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My albi is about 10 inches my ornates are about 8-9 and my endlicheri is about 5-6 and these are tuff guestimations and my jewel has been with them for goin on a few months now. And never have I had an issue with it with any of my fish except the smaller deformed jewel whom he chases once or twice a day for a quick dash and that's it. I just upped my number of females today and added 3 more to the tank bringing my number to 4 females. Upon adding them he coloured up to what you now see. For the past few months he's been a di lol burgundy color. I know it's still young but there is a much larger dominant red zebra male who he has to worry about more who is the all around boss of the tank other than my polys he doesn't mess with my demasoni. But he lets everyone know he's the boss. My tanks a 6 foot 125 gal long tank with lots of rock and drift wood and I ll b addin more as I continue stocking.

I gotcha bud wasnt saying your gonna have an issue just to keep an eye out heard jewels can sometimes be moody. Sound like you have everything under control

Oh yeh I know they can be really aggressive especially when you have a breeding pair which I don't. Plus the tank is huge and there's lots of space. Woke up this morning and found that one of my females had fry hatch. My red zebra hasn't been eating for a few weeks and I just added 3 new females so not sure if it's my red zebra or one of the new females. Awoke to find my dominant male of the tank chasing one I tried to save it and find others only to not find it at all. So I believe they have been eaten. Sad but happy because I'll be really watching today so I can seperate them.

The pic of the ansorgii facing the camera with the Nigerian lap(I think) is so adorable. Looks like happy mocassins(shoes) .

Love the pics of the tssinsiko dabola with the speckles on the mouth. At least I think that's what it is hahaha. What a pretty poly!
