Really depends on the fish and its mood and the lighting. These are all the same fish
Put 6 Chinese guys from China in a room. Will these 6 look the same. Put all 8 California guys in separate room. Will the 8 look the same. Same or different, subtle, skin colors? 'Hi my name is Paul from Los Angeles'. By the way. Paul is Chinese with a locale (collection point). This is how I see the endli complex. 
Put a mexican,perubian,salvadorian,brazilian and a nicaraguan, they all look a like but all different, lolz

Dude they wont look the same but this example doesnt support your arguement. Out of the 8 cali girls say 4 come from LA. The LA girls arent all going to look the same just because they are from LA.
Hao posted multiple examples of endli from the se location that look different, there a whole thread on lap pics where some from the se location look different.
In the congi thread it was stated that congi in the US are from the same location (not sp.aff) these two look completely diff but are both congi
I dont believed that they are the same fish, yeah there are alot of similarities with both endlis, that is why we are here to see what makes them different from each other, its what makes the hobby fun, caise if all endlis are the same fish its just saying all laps are the same fish, then why we collect them? Is it cause of the catch location? Or we still believe that they are different.
Like me i go by what the vendor tells me, i go by the name they told me before buying the fish, but i still wanna see what seperates them. Idk if my fish are mislabel or not but i do see some similarities to all guinea endlis. Like the head pattern, my dabola endli and J jaws7777 faranah endli have similar pattern, and my faranah endli head pattern have the same as

All endli are the same fish, all laps are the the same fish as well....this is why koliba and koloton ar sp. They havent been fully described... endli and laps have. Becausr they have different pattetns does not make it a sperate of different fish so to soeak. Of course there are differences between each endli but its be shown that endli form dabola, faranah and over all guinea can exhibit the same characteristics in the same breath they can also have different characteristics.
Endli arent magical fish lol find a pic of a vieja ...any vieja and no two will look the same, a zonatus is a zonatus not mattet how.much blue one has over the other. On the other hand take melanurus and synsipilum very similar fish one has a more orange colored head while the other is more red. Recently both have been re-classified as the same fish.
Why are the two congi i posted considered the same fish... but and endli that is SLIGHTLY different than another considered a different fish ?
Just my opinion doesnt mean im right and wont stop me from purchasing an endli for a certian catch location because imo endli are always a surprise you never know how the patterns of base colors will look until you get the fish

Sometimes when a Guniean Endli will look the same or similar is all that supports. Things get mixed I'm sure from time to time. Or simply they're a 'brutha from the same mutha'. I say that 'genetically' speaking.
* Faranah for me. A distinct feature is a much flatter head.
* Dabola 'Tikinsso River' distinct feature is a heavier set skull. Thick and mean looking
Patterns and color tones can be similar for both.
