Polyaddict86 , Do the anchovies all sink? With silversides some will float. Seems like whatever happens during the flash freeze process some of the fish end up with air pockets in their stomach. You have to pop it to sink them.

Same for anchovies, what i do is i get a plastic cup with water and i throw 3-4 at a time to see which one will float and then poke the belly with tooth pick to release the air.
