im gonna try to put these two in a tank of their own and see if i can breed them, the female has layed eggs a few times in the tank:

Ive had a few requests to see more of my "black" Ornatipinnis, so i snapped a few of him yesterday (and a few more of course ).
He had a little accident when he was smaller, got stuck in a hose, broke and bent a few fins... Ever since, he has been growing pretty slow, and there seems to be some problem with his digestion, it looks like his food gets stuck in the front and it takes days to wear out...
You can see here how dark he is compared to the other Ornatipinnis in the picture, and also how huge his belly gets:
The biggest Ornatipinnis is now 13,5" and growing steadily:
