my pond projects 11x6x3

Ok about a month ago pond satart getting algea . Everyday I come from work I see lot of algea top of the water. Then I got skimmer to see how it helps with extra pump 1100 gph. It helped but I still get damn algea. I find out pond sees to much sun specially at noon and water gets hot and it blooms algea. So I had gazebo from my old house so here I dont use it and I set it up. Also I got extra 18waat uv light too before I had 13waat in my pressurized filter. Aftr a week algea gone. Also I put some blue pond diy I never gonna use it it turn the water so dark cannot even see the fish even I add half of it I suppost to put more but water got so dark. It took 3 weeks to clear. Here the some picture u see now water is crystal clear.
