Once the water heats up a liitle more (above 65) the BB will do a lot in keeping the pond clear. My pond has just gotten through the spring string algae phase, and now it is rocking. Floaters in the upper part will clean up the water as well. I added Hyacinth and lettuce this weekend and the water is crystal clear.
