yea seriously. this inccedent made me hate oscars. i cant stand them anymore. and anyone reading this thread wondering if its ok to house oscars or any other cichlid with polypterids or gars. dont do it. it may work in some cases but in most it equals disaster. thats just my advise that most will give you and alittle personal experience.
Yeah sorry for your loss. My ropefish was one of my favorite fish in my tank so I know what it's like to lose one. Oscars can be bastards! I got rid of the ones I had years ago because they were just a-holes! I'll never get any again!
