Not trieing to sound noobish but..... what is zeolite ? I have never heard of it before .

zeolite is a rock like material that filters ammonia in water, but if u are gonna use that don't put salt in the tank for whatever reason without removing the zeolite first.

Beutifull. I have an Ornate in my 120 malawi tank. I cant wait till he's full grown.

oh at least for the first 12" or so u wouldn't have to wait much, but once there they grow quite slow

zeolite absorbs ammonia, but the moment u add salt calcium displaces ammonia from zeolite and u have instant ammonia spike in ur tank

yeah among the five from the same batch he and one more gar got the best patterns the remaining have a paler pattern
