Looks real peaceful. Any aggression with the aros at all?

Not really the two silvers occasionally nip at each other as they done for years. Every now and then the larger black will go on a bit of a power trip and keep the other three aros to one side of the tank.

Nothing special, diet includes NLS, Extreme brand pellets, Hikari cichlid gold, and algae waffers.

Looks great Brian. Such a peaceful, active tank. I could sit all day and watch it. Hopefully I have the sufficient tank size to house Aros some day.

How often do you lose one of the Tetras?

On average I loose about 1 tetra per week. I also lost a couple of small growout cichlids a while back too.

Love it! Didn't realise you had an eel in there.

Yeah, my big 31-32" tire track. He really doesn't go with the south american theme, but with his size he really don't fit in any of my other tanks.

I just showed this vid to the wife and she says, "our aro's will need a larger home in the future". Been saving but nice to have the wife on board.

Thanks for this video. Truely mammoth fish in a box.

Thanks all:)

Thanks. Yeah you realize this once your aros start gaining some size. To bad this message couldn't be conveyed to all those jamming a bunch of arowana in a 75g tank. My hope is to split up the two pairs, plans are for a 10' x 30' x 36' next year. When I had just three aro in the tank is seemed much more comfortable then the four. I would still like to get a third black for a trio, maybe I'll be able to pick up some babies for growout this spring.:naughty:

Great tank and nice arowanas Brian! Nice video as well! You Black Arowana has got some girth to him looks like a healthy fish.

Very nice Brian. I cant wait until my silver gets that big. I would love to have some beautiful blacks like that but I cant seem to find any here. lol
