Thanks all. Filtration at time of the video was 2 rena xp3s and sump. I have since replaced the two xp3s with two fluval FX5s. I also increased sump volume by about 20 gallons, though no additional media was added.
Amazing tank Brian! I watched the video 3 times ina row! man I hope I can get a setup like that , its so relaxing watching those HUGE arro's glide so gracefully , I think the smaller fish actually complements the tank alot ! Got to go watch it again!
LoL, knock on wood. Have yet to have a jumper from this tank. The arowana are much more calm in the larger tank. I just work on one side of the tank at a time and the aro stay to the other end. Occasionally one of the silvers will wander over and I just guide them away with my hand.

Thanks, I really enjoy having the small schooling fish too. I got to do a restock as I tried a 5-6" trimac in the tank. He was able to wipe out 20 or so tetras in about 4-5 days
as my aros live longer in their 8' tank, i find got really unfriendly and jumpy. before when they were in a smaller tank they were not skittish at all. they no longer swim over to check people out and always stay on the other side of the tank. i wonder if this is gonna get worse when they are moved to an even larger set-up (still cycling)
