That is a MONSTER Bala, I just lost one of mine recently, granted he was still small, about 3.5", he jumped out of the little 10g I moved him in, and fell 2+ stories. Needless to say, I flipped out. I loved that fish..now it's just my other Bala flying solo.

As for adult size; i think they get 2.5 feet or so(mine is at 22" now 3.5yrs)

Actually there is a pecking order for feeding,the Jar attacks everything 1st along with the Bala,2nd i hand feed the TSN,3rd i hand feed my larger Lima,4th the smaller lima and water cow eat whatever hits the bottom.The Pictus and Albino whatever eats flakes.Aqua Doctor;2802415; said:
