I do not know for sure. If I was to guess, by the growth rate since I've owned it, I would say 8-10 years old.

Mine is in a 75 with two AC110's for filtration. Be patient. Plecos are slow growers. You're doing pretty good if you see a couple inches a year.

I'm far from an expert, but I believe it is an L-600.

No. Wish it was. Although L-25 and Mine are both Psuedacanthicus sp.
