They look just like mine!

Mine has a little belly like that on him too!!

That's a good thing, right? ^_^

Not really... fat puffers (just like people) have fat in/around their organs & don't live as long as normal football-shaped ones. I've never seen a fat fish in the wild.

Ive had mine for a few months now and its really quite always sitting at the bottom but when i feed it a shrimp tail or a snail it gets really fat i feed him 2-3 times a day with small portions i don't know why it happens then he gets back to regular size :)

Zarmak, what kind of puffer is it & how large? It sounds to me like you are way overfeeding this fish. 1x/day is fine, even for a dwarf puffer, letting it fast 1 day/week.

Smaller puffers (under 2″) need to eat every day, skipping one feeding/week. Feed them until their bellies are slightly rounded. Medium sized puffers (2-4″) should be fed every other day. Larger puffers (4-6″) should be fed every 3-4 days. You may find this schedule difficult, as puffers are very adept at begging for food! Feeding puffers every time they beg will cause fat, lazy fish and eventually you will be killing them with kindness.

I knew that lol my uncle is a marinologist he taught me a bunch of stuff since im the only one interested in fish in my family his opinion of best fish to go for before going to saltwater and reef is start brackish with puffers and now i don't wanna go brackish lol. but anyways its a Tetraodon Cutcutia occelated puffer, common puffer, seafrog, ect grows to be 6 inch's and i dont overfeed it 3 times a day about 2-4 peices of freeze driedbloodworm and i skip one day a week seeing as it comes out of its cavewhenits hungry btw heres a vid of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Z_uVP8mSdY i added some rocks because i wanna put something in there once i get a bigger tank.

Yes & that puffer is too fat, I'll admit it. Is that a 5g tank he's in? That puffer needs a 20g long tank & a ton of decor. Puffers are very intelligent creatures that need decor to investigate or they get bored easily & will stress. Your puffer is pacing, which is s sure sign of stress. You need to feed him more than just bloodworms or his teeth will grow too long.

Also, your puffer is a FW fish, so I hope you aren't keeping in in BW.
