water temp is 75 degrees and he seems to be doing good. this was totally unexpected. he was in the tank in the garage since spring then moved in the house all temporary. the tank is for raising babies and hes going in the pond but i figured i let him stay until my dovii babies were ready to be moved. check him out

rainbows can take warmer water...my brookie didn't...was mid diy chiller and it got to 90f for like a week...it basically melted in my tank...

That is awesome. Makes me want one in my 210, but I don't think it is big enough.

thanks for the replies but can sombody tell me how this trout is able to hold up in these temps? ive always been told once a trout hits around 70-73 degrees its dead for sure. today the temp is sitting at 76 and i threw in a bunch of minnows and he went nuts eating them. this is very strange to me. doesnt seem to be breathing hard or showing signs of stress. any trout experts out there who thinks this is odd?
