IMO trout dont need THAT cold of temps to survive....as long as it doesnt rise to high then the fish is fine....trout can adapt to higher temps as long as one has a lot of aeration to compensate for it.....
ya its pretty cool. if i had another tank for him id keep him in the house all summer but right now ive got alot of tanks already stocked. another 180 or 300 gallon is coming soon but its going to have to many more aggressive fish in it for the trout so hope ya like the pond.
doing good. still swimming around and eating good. its 85 outside today but 76 in the air conditioned house. have not put him in pond yet but pretty soon as the dovii babies will need the tank.
