It's only my opinion-so forgive me-
I could be totally wrong with what i say-

But it seems as if the filter is getting clogged that quickly-Tank maintence was not up to par to begin with.This would aid in being loud also.

I will agree with too many fittings and o rings.....
I had an eheim break with in the first hour of owning one...

Once again to each thier own......

Definatly wasnt tank maintenence. tank was already overfiltered and got at least a 25% wc a weak not too mention it was only a 46g

as far as an Ehiem breaking right after setup that I would be more inclined to belive was due to operator. I run two Classics and they work flawless once you run one of these youll understand why Im sayin the mag 350 is junk.
