Finally up to date on all this. Li is the man. Glad its finally resolved and it is exposed further.
What's crazy is that even after all of this that there are still people in the hobby who don't know the deal with Bill (of course there will ALWAYS be some who refuse to believe and/or prefer to associate with dirt bags).
He gets them to commit to a sponsorship agreement...announces it...a bunch of people go to the new sponsor and say, "Hey, don't you know that Bill is a crook and despised by much of the organized fish hobby... and has burned any number of vendors?" And they say, "No - but now I'm stuck..." And you better believe that he's not giving them a refund.
Bill's next auction / personal fundraiser is in the fall. Make sure that your friends know that buying fish there is putting money directly into Bill's pocket / supporting someone who burned Li (and lots of other good and decent people).

If you or someone you know is considering attending or selling at this guy's fall personal fund-raiser...er...auction, think about all of the people and organizations in the hobby that he's screwed over, stole, bullied or otherwise mistreated. It's not just Li and MFK. It's bunches of the best, most honest, decent people that I know in this hobby.

I can't believe how much extra cash I have, now that I don't attend his auctions anymore. Leaves me more money for my other hobby.

Is there any particular reason not to name shame him? I realize it's unbecoming, but it might help others avoid him in the future. At some point I was interested enough and found out who he was, and now it forget lol.
