My Rarely Shown Tiny 20g-L

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks Sarah. I unplugged the heater for three months from Jan-March. It was really weird, the water seemed so cold at room temp. They don't act different either way. The male constantly wants to mate and used to physically harrass the female until she finally took a stand and put him in his place. Now he just colors up and follows her around like a puppy dog.

Hey, 20 gallon longs are the monsters of the mini-tanks. And I'm not just saying that because that's the only size I can fit atm.

And know you won't snort in derision when you here one of us say "They may be dwarves, but they are still cichlids!!!" :grinno:

I've got eggs again today. They laid on that red rock they're hovering over in the pics. When I get home from work, if they're still there, I'll put the filament barbs in another tank and divide the 20g so the male can't eat caviar.
