Hey all! I've been lurking more than posting lately, but I finally took some videos this morning of my ray pond - I had a lot of help from guys on MFK earlier in the summer on questions about filtration options for an open pond, and I just thought I'd share my success! My Hystrix are growing quickly; both have grown 2.5+ inches since I've gotten them this spring (after they fattened up....both came in pretty thin).
The lighter one is a female (I think her pattern/color is incredible!), and the darker one is a male. Both came in around 4", and are WC. I'd like to add another male and 2 more females eventually...if I can keep successfully avoiding Vamptrev's Leos that is!
It's getting harder to resist though....there's a lot of floor room in here for just two little rays, and I still have a second pond to setup!
