  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When I was using a bubble curtain one of my rays would play in the bubbles all day. The other ray couldn't care less. I think your ray is enjoying and playing in the current.

does anyone else think the rear fins look red? Almost like irritation from the sand.

:iagree: What kind of sand is that? it looks like a reptile sand.. looks sharp. The red irritation on the pelvic fins is a sure sign that the sand is sharp, because that is where most of the contact/friction is..

Looks like its putting on weight.. no more skinny veins.

thats a gorgeous humerosa! what kind of sand is that you have in their? is it reptile sand?

thnx for replies guys, sand is a marine sand from petland. i remember it said safe for salt and fresh. i will have to go back and reread package again. not that it matters, will remove sand asap. thats why i posted that pic, so thnx again. i read somewhere that a pink underside was good, but wasnt sure what to think. other than removing the sand, anything else she gonna need? salt probably a good thing i expect.

lil aquarium salt wont hurt.... and keep the water pristine.... and some more good powerfeedings that about it...

so, i went to a pool supply store today to get sand for tank, the only kind they had was a somewhat large grain, and was a silica. silica is a no go, right? what kind or brand should i ask for?

i kno this is off topic but i really like the aquascaping =)
