It's not "recommended" that you keep other fish with Piranha......by whom exactly I couldn't tell ya.............one things for sure - So long as people keep piranha as wet pets they'll keep tryin' to intagrate other species of fish. Lord knows I tried it.........hell over 20 years ago I tried 2 Rhoms and 3 RPB's in a 29 gal long...........fish lasted less than 24 hours - an expesive lesson as a newbie to piranha. I tried pleco's and catfish and red terrors and green terrors and the results where always the same
Piranha's bit the other fish........none of the above died from piranha bites but it was no kinda life for the other fish. My Rhom and my RPB live alone in their own tanks and as far as I'm concerned they'll stay that way for the duration of their lives - the Rhom is a juvie less than 1 year old , the RPB is 7 years old.
